The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the push of one button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We think this is a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you want to get one of the Best Mopping And Vacuuming Robot robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move away if it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top rated robot vacuum performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum mops vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
