Here is a listing of the extra costumes you can obtain in NieR: Automata, as well as the requirements to unlock each one. Here is a listing for every DLC currently released for NieR Automata, as well as the contents they include when purchased. This downloadable content can be purchased online for $13.99 and contains three new costumes based on the Japanese released NieR: Replicant for each character. Any downloadable content you obtain online can be accessed once you load your game and select from the sub menus or Chapter Select. You can find and equip Emil's mask when you visit Emil's house the first time. This begins the Emil's Memories quest, 2b costumes nier automata where you'll need to find all of the Lunar Flowers for Emil to trigger his lost memories. The Lunar Tear is a reward you get from completing the Emil's Memories quest. When you speak with Emil one last time, he will reward you with a Lunar Flower you can wear. Once you reach the end, the robot girl will leave after giving you the Pink Bow and Blue Bow as a reward. You can equip either bow from your items menu in the key items section to any character you play as long as you have already obtained it in any playthrough. The pink bow and blue bow is a small item that you can equip after completing the Lost Girl side quest. Extra downloadable content for NieR Automata can add more unique items and aspects for players to explore. This costume is also available (as an individual piece of downloadable content and as part of a wider costume pack) in Drakengard 3, where it is called "Kainé's Garb". Additional content will range from extra costumes for 2B, 9S, and A2; to expansions upon other modes of the game.


You can obtain Adam's glasses atop of the building where you first enter the City Ruins at the beginning of the game. Currently there are very few known alternate outfits that can be obtained in the game. The following are accessories and costumes that you can equip to your characters after obtaining them from quests or fulfilling certain requirements. Triggering this can sometimes be tricky, since Emil is constantly changing his location. When you find the flower, Emil will appear and have a short convo with you. Once you find her, you'll need to escort her to the end of the desert down south. In order to do so however, you need to have already visited Pascal's Robot Village and spoken to the robot mother within the village. The lost robot girl is located in the desert in the north. When you finally find each flower, Emil will give you a key to the elevator in the Commercial Facility after discovering the last one.


Go back to the Commercial Facility near the Forest Area and go down the elevator. This will trigger a shinning flower to appear in the Commercial Facility near the Forest Area (in the mall like building). In order to unlock the quest, you need to have met with Emil at least once and completed the Forest Kingdom area. Once Emil is within the area and you make him stop moving, you'll be able to purchase the Dress Module for 10,000. Once unlocked, the Dress Module can be equiped to any character. The flower can be equipped to any character once you unlock it. If you pre-order Nier Automata, you gain access to two exclusive Pod skins that can be equipped from your Key Items. You can equip the outfits from your Key Items. Additional outfits can be equipped from the Key Items section of your inventory. Equipment can be used in conjunction with both accessories such as Sand Mask and a hair dye such as White Hair. You can also change the hair color for 2B and 9S via hairsprays.
